Today's Quote

“As parents, we should remember that our lives may be the book from the family library which the children most treasure. Are our examples worthy of emulation? Do we live in such a way that a son or a daughter may say, ‘I want to follow my dad,’ or ‘I want to be like my mother’? Unlike the book on the library shelf, the covers of which shield its contents, our lives cannot be closed. Parents, we truly are an open book in the library of learning of our homes.” Thomas S Monson

Food Storage

Well, I did it. I ordered a full year's supply of Grains and Legumes for our food storage. I think it's realitively close to 450 lbs. of food. Plus I've just gotten 25 lbs. of refried beans, and potato flakes. Tomorrow, I'm getting 66 more lbs. of wheat and some rolled oats. There is such a demand right now for food storage items. And as hard as it was to spend so much $ on it at once, I realized that if something happens and we need it, I'd kick myself for NOT doing it now. If the prices went up significantly, or supplies became even more endangered, I would feel like an idiot for not doing something while I could.

Honesty

Let me just say that this is my place to say whatever, whenever. Good or bad, I need to be able to write it down. So, I hope any who read this will bear with me, and love me anyway. Because when I put my thoughts down, I can sort them better. I have a few Blogs. But I feel limited in what I can say. I need ONE to say EVERYTHING!
